Biggest Lessons 2024 Taught Me

Which I already knew even before 2024 — but I'm an obstinate child. But as I open 2025, (I guess) it's time to definitely apply these lessons. (Took you a long time, kid.)

1. If people won't give me the decency of a response, I'm allowed to do the same thing to them (regardless of when).

2. You need to let others take the ball and just satisfyingly watch it fall, roll, or fly (fly if they are lucky).(Without handing the ball yet, you already know it's gonna fall and roll rather than fly. But just let it.)

3. Take that freaking headache pill (or painkiller). Don't waste time enduring the pain. (If it's chronic, see the doctor.)

This was just supposed to be three but let's make it four now.

4. Never assume people use their brains. And never assume, regardless who they are, that people have common sense. (Despite all the times you highly regard them as individuals who are capable of thinking.)
