In bullets because you say long form is dead. LOL. Pero joke's on me and you kasi mahaba pa rin ito.
- Typical Joel Lamangan film. Maski hindi mo panoorin, you'll get the story from hearing the lines.
- Magagaling 'yung cast. They have their own acting prowess. Maski 'yung mga side character but, may mga acting na masasabi mong, "OK, that was too much."
- Feeling ko it would've worked better as a stage play, given the acting directions (or choices?) ng mga cast. In one frame, nagpapalit ng pwesto sina Cherry Pie at Allen Dizon.
Laging may kalabog. Pero nagustuhan ko ang paggamit ng NATSOT. Pakiramdam ko, nandoon ako sa eksena. O baka that's Ayala's Dolby, chos (Not even sure if they are using Dolby).
- Maraming scene akong napaisip if they really happen in reality. Siguro kasi, never ko naman na experience ang mga ganito but that doesn't mean they aren't true or impossible.
- Speaking of tsuper, medyo timing sa Jeepney Modernization issue ngayon.
But that's Joel Lamangan auteurship, eh. I guess? Saka feeling ko kasi, gusto niya ipakita kung gaano kalawak 'yung EDSA Revolution, but I think there's another way.
- I think the film also showed the wide rod between the rich and the poor. It showed the side for the elite or the rich na lang, sige, during EDSA days. So maski papaano, may dalawang perspective but was it enough? For the film, I think it was.
I was waiting for the sudden spring jump. I thought there'd be something more but dahil linear 'yung kuwento, it felt like a plateau maski sinabi kong parang heightened ang mga eksena lagi.
(I a-up ko 'to, syempre siya dahilan bakit ko 'to pinanood!)
- Ang in your face ng ending. Pero baka kailangan talaga i-emphasize through text dahil sa nangyayari ngayon. Pero it dipped the experience.
Wala akong balak panoorin 'yung dalawa pang political film. I don't think I would like any of them. Took a chance on Oras de Peligro and surprisingly, it was OK or acceptable but not something I'll be gushing about. I'll give it a 2 over 5. (Nanood dahil ke Teri! Chos.)
I didn't emphasize this in my Facebook post as I believe everyone knows already that I am all for speaking the truth. But in here, I want to say, Yes. No to historical revisionism.
