Few months ago, I ordered the most unkabogable planner from The Rainbow Collective. I was one of those who pre-ordered. I was so excited for it that I kept on waiting each day for it to arrive then it arrived when I was in a taping. Oops, hindi ako ang artista. Just there to take some BTS of Dok Ricky, Pedia ng Barangay (We are up for season three! Watch it!)
Basically, as Althea Cahayag, I don't do planners. I don't take note of my schedule this way -- I don't write them somewhere. Instead, I go digital. My e-mail events are synchronized on my phone's calendar. My personal events are noted on my phone's calendar as well. That's how I roll. I was given planners from a coffee shop for the past years, consecutively, I guess that was since 2012 until 2016?, and yes, all planners were left inside a drawer. Ni wala akong sinulatan maski isa, maski pangalan ko.
But here goes a planner on my feed as I scroll, being so iridescent and irresistible. When I saw it, I told myself, I guess this is the first time I would buy a planner and use a planner. So yes, take my money. It is a planner that represents and teaches. What is not to love? And it is the first LGBT planner!
Unlike other planners from your favorite coffee shops which you have to collect stickers and drink liters of caffeine or no caffeine at all before having one, this LGBT Planner by The Rainbow Collective doesn't have coupons. It has deets about LGBTQIA+. From terms, to history, to places where you can seek help. And my favorite part, aside from the rainbow, are the artworks and literary pieces! You get to read as you write your hanash-es!
Cover. It is a hardbound planner.
Pak na pak!
Confused what the acronym stands for? We got you covered!
Oh, rainbow. How sweet.
Here you go. Some SOGIE infographics (well, I think this is a part of SOGIE. Correct me if I am wrong.)
Literary piece!
LGBTQIA+ deets!!!
Chorval -- Journal. Sana may maisulat ako rito. Kailangan ko na rin ba nang magandang pen?
Forgot what and when to celebrate? Here you go!
The colors and its meaning
Letters. Personal. Real. You are real.
Art work!
2019 is coming and I still don't know how to handle this planner. A part of me says it is so nice to write on! I wanna keep it the way it is. But, you know...
