I love going to museums. Not because of the fancy shots but because of what I'd know as I roam. I don't know. Maybe I am someone who likes to learn new things (which are old, because most of the time, museums have artifacts and things like that), or things that start conversations -- with others or one's self. I like stories. I love stories.

However, few days ago, my friends and I visited a different museum. The Dessert Museum in Pasay. It was different for it was not your typical learn-here-things-museum but it was a themed one. Though there were things to know, such as on average, a person licks an ice cream 50 times to finish it. Uhh, I am really not sure about the 50 times for I was busy playing with balls when I heard it on the speaker.
There are eight rooms inside the museum. Each highlights a specific dessert or sweets. Some walls have information or trivia about the the specific dessert but no matter how big the texts are, your attention will be on the displays. And there was no guide or someone to tell you about these trivia. You may hear them from the speakers, though.
Basically, this museum, for me, is for the gram. For your social media uploads. You know. Because research says that millennials find their worth from the likes they get in social media. Ugh.

How to get there: Use Grab. Chos. This isn't a paid advert for Grab nor The Dessert Museum.
If you know how to reach Mall of Asia, you are good to go. It's near the mall, and it is housed in Conrad Hotel. (And this only shows na hindi ako pwedeng travel blogger. I am not good in giving directions. Haha! No. I don't promote Grab or any ride hailing apps. Whenever I commute and I am not sure where I am or how to get there, I use my Maps app on my phone. Yes, I am that kind of kiddo.)
How much to spend: We booked online so we were able to save a hundred peso. The normal price for walk-in customers in PHP799.00. However, I believe the promo of slashing PHP100.00 is for a limited time. You may check their site here. (That's aside from your transportation expenses.) Oh. And there's an additional PHP300.00. Read on to know what this is.
I definitely asked my friends if they are sure of this venture for I think it was way, way, waaaaaaaaaay, too expensive! But since Arra wants it and we are supportive friends as hell (THIS TIME ONLY, FOR ME), let's do it for the gram. OK.
What will you be getting: Eight desserts, one from each room, instagrammable photos, hashtag blessed (read between the strike on that hashtag), hashtag, instagood; hashtag, instadaily; hastag, ootd; hashtag, VSCO. And of course, likes and reacts on your socmed accounts -- that translates to appreciation and worth (make sure to put on your witty captions). You have to finish all eight themed rooms in two hours.
Tip/s: Book online. It's a whole lot better than falling in line for online bookings are given priority as I saw it. Be there 15 mins before your booking time. You can pay using credit card, Paymaya, or pay online using your bank (though I wasn't able to see this option upon paying).

Let's vault in! Ay, iba pala 'yon. These are the wristbands. They'd give you one before getting inside the rooms. This is also your ticket for your free desserts or snacks. And, losing this equates to PHP300.00. So don't lose it! Some were given the pink ones. IDK. That's prolly under promo or something else. They have a Father's Day promo if I am not mistaken. Tatays are free of entrance!
First thing you'd see before you enter the Donut room. You either slide your way down the room or walk down the stairs.
Inside the Donut Room! So many donuts or doughnuts. I was really expecting we will be given doughnuts but we were asked to choose between a thumb-size (almost, just a little taller) mousse cake or a cream puff. I don't have photos. Haha! Oh! Before entering the room, a staff will tell you to be careful with your heads for the displays, like these donuts, are made of wood.
