More than 8K: I Can't Believe (Wow)

I can't believe I was able to do this.

I saw this 50 peso challenge on Facebook and I was in awe when someone saved up plenty of money. But that was it. I didn't replicate what she has done not until Ems, my officemate, decided to replicate the challenge.

I saw her saving every 50 peso bill handed to her. I saw her counting her bills and read her blog. Few days after that, I decided to do the same. And whoa-la! Here you go!

As you can see, the 50 peso bills are no longer that plenty since I had two sets of PHP1,000.00 worth given to Ma'am Portia (another officemate, single, I am not sure if she's ready to mingle, LOL) in exchange of two 1,000 bills. She needed to break hers so she can have some change for her suki sa load (Pasok mga suki!). Deposited them to my savings.

I have forgotten when did I start this collecting 50 peso bills but during the middle of the year, perhaps, I started to save PHP300.00 every payday. That's dissected (whut?!) into three categories: Personal Fund (100.00), Recreation Fund (150.00), and Travel Fund (50.00).
I also had PHP4,000.00 on top of these bills on the photo. I had to take them out since I wanted to buy something before office break came. (I am explaining because you might say these bills may not be roughly around PHP8,000.00.)

Planning to do this again next year! (I actually did something at the start of 2017. It's the every day challenge where I started by saving PHP1.00 and there's a one peso increment every day. I was able to save around PHP6,000.00 until June but I had to let go of some stash because of my tooth surgery. Well, health is wealth so I stopped regretting.

Happy saving, awesomes!

The jar last November.

IvaMi must be proud.

I guess the only thing I will be buying for myself this holidays is food. Oh, yeah! I bought some things for myself yesterday!
