1. I like they have a GL (Girls Love) category, GL Ako Sa 'yo (though matagal ko na 'tong alam).
2. I like that their lead women aren't society's perfection. They have muffin tops or lower belly fats, different body sizes (not everyone is slim), nipples that aren't pink, and stretch marks or tiger stripes.

3. Seems the actors have specific boundaries in sex scenes. Sa lahat nang napanood kong VivaMax content, aside from the two yesterday, the ladies' breast aren't held or kissed by their partners on screen. Sila lang nagka-caress ng kanilang bosom. The only time I saw a partner held their leading lady's breasts was in Diego Loyzaga and Franki Russell's movie — siguro dahil mag jowa sila in real life that time. But Franki never showed her breasts (sa mga napanood ko). Covered by Diego or naka hide sa camera sa ibang partner niya.

4. But I won't really trust them with GL content. Not because it's all porn (but yes, male gaze all over — I need gay gaze) but because of the storytelling per se. 'Yung unang pinanood ko kahapon, happy ending naman, sweet, cute, but the execution and storytelling didn't work for me. The second one is structured and had better storytelling than the usual stories you'll see on the platform (and I've seen the director's work in Cinemalaya) but the GL part, felt like it was just placed for the sake of it. Isa pa, kaya nga GL, bakit niyo ko bibigyan ng ending na girl at boy ang mukhang magkakatuluyan? Don't bury my sapphics maski dark social realism pa 'yan.
I wish next time they create GL content created by sapphic creators.
