Red. Dark Red.

I slammed my left hand on a hard surface. I can't even remember what surface was it. On the table. On the side of my closet. I can't recall despite only having an hour passed.

Now the palms of the tip of my two fingers — the little and the ring fingers — hurt and they're in a dark color of red. Too dark that I can see it's near to turn black. I pressed ice on them directly to ease the pain. They were numb as I laid the ice. I can't feel the cold no matter how hard and how many times I rub it through.
